East Side High School is a four-year public high school in Newark in Essex County, New Jersey, United States, operating as part of the Newark Public Schools. As of the 2012-13 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,479 students and 119.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.43:1.
